Joseph Smith did NOT write the Book of Mormon
When reaching into the night stand to pull out a Gideon Bible at a Marriott Hotel in Dallas in 1985 it didn't shock me to see the “Book of Mormon” knowing that Bill Marriott was a Mormon. What did surprise me was the still quiet voice of Father. “Read” Then I knew Him as God. So after doing the so called Christian routine of rebuking demons from the book I picked it up and began to read puzzled as to why. “Thanks Father”
Already had I burned through dozens of Bibles, the so called “Word of God” only to find it lacked what my soul thirsted for. So why not read this book now in my lap, the Book of Mormon? Seven hours later I finished the book and wept. It was written by Hebrews not Joseph Smith. Yet once again man had made a religion, falsely, out of the pure and earnest words written by those of the lineage of our earth brother, the Master Himself. Next morning I was in my Jewish attorney's office to finalize an “oil deal” but couldn't wait to ask. “Did you know the Book of Mormon was written by Jews?”
He was shocked as I was. Long story short. I couldn't wait to get back to my “Christian” friends and colleagues to share the good news that there was more, much more, than just the Bible, as we knew it. “The Jews gave us the Old and New Testaments and now I find they gave more!” I've yet to step foot into a Mormon church or temple. Instead I enlisted my attorneys in Washington to comb the Library of Congress for the most original and pristine version of the so called Book of Mormon (Mormon was the name of one of the Hebrew authors) without the added Latter Day Saint additions. Their results were successful and just as shocking. Their copyright had expired. In 1991 after much prayer and extensive research I published “The Bible II”.
In time I had received a large order from Barnes and Nobles for several thousand copies of “The Bible II” which was already getting good sales from a small advertisement in Biblical Archaeology Review. Did I want to fulfill this order? I certainly did not want to deceive the world. The answer was already forthcoming by way of a Sheriff knocking on my country home late one night. “Mr. Crawford, I hate to disturb you sir, but I have some papers to deliver to you from the Corporation of the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Are you a Mormon?” He asked as I signed for the delivery. I grinned at my friend, “Hardly.”

They withdrew the cause after an intensive deposition months later. A portion of their demand was to cease the publication and destroy all remaining copies. I had published ten thousand. When interrogated as to whether I had complied I only responded that I heard the Angels in Heaven laughing. “Prove to me that Hebrews between 600 B.C. - 400 A.D. did NOT write the words in this book and I will burn every copy; as the Jury is going to require you to do.”
I said. "Behold, we have written this record according to our knowledge, in the characters which are called among us the reformed Egyptian, being handed down and altered by us, according to our manner of speech. And if our plates had been sufficiently large we should have written in Hebrew; but the Hebrew has been altered by us also; and if we could have written in Hebrew, behold, there would be no imperfection in our record." ~ The Bible II
“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:19
Now I was free from this erroneous curse. There WAS more to the Bible! I find no need to share the repercussions experienced from friends and colleagues in my hometown. It was enough that I had published “The Bible II” but next I found the Methodist Pastor and some deacons of the same church President George and Laura Bush were married in at my door to rebuke the demons from me for publishing The Book of Mormon as The Bible II without any inclusion of Latter Day Saint Doctrine.
